Elig is a two-way playmaker for Chardon. On defense Elig is a cornerback for the Hilltoppers. When it comes to physical traits, he has fluid hips and runs really well. His backpedal to turn and run is smooth. He’s fundamentally sound as he runs with the receiver and turns his head when he sees the receiver turn his head to find the ball. He closes well on the ball in underneath routes. On offense he’s a dual threat QB who can make plays with his arm or his legs. His athleticism and quickness suit him well in the zone read game.
