The position groupings for the class of 2024 are going to be some talented ones to watch over the next few years. We will start with the running back position as the first one to examine. The talent in the running back group is extremely impressive for the class of 2024. Numerous division one caliber athletes occupy this position grouping alone.

Russell is currently the number one overall player in the state of Arkansas for the class of 2024. He is a running back that will not go down on initial contact and he looks to deliver more punishment that he takes. Russell can also work effectively as a wide receiver, and he has a second gear when he gets into the open field. With a scholarship offer from the university of Arkansas already in his possession the potential that Russell has is extremely impressive.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="240083" first="Jalen" last="Dupree"]-Malvern-6’1” 185-Pounds</strong>
Dupree is another Malvern running back to watch out for over the next few years. Dupree has excellent speed and is dangerous when he breaks into the open field. He had a strong 2021 season, rushing for 1,600 yards and 18 touchdowns on the season. Malvern has produced great running backs in the past and Dupree has the potential to be the next great running back to come out of Malvern.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149573" first="Austyn" last="Dendy"]-Pine Bluff-6’2” 170-Pounds</strong>
The Pine Bluff Zebra is a powerhouse at the running back position. Dendy runs with good power, and he has the talent to make the first tackler miss. He is another running back that is versatile and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Pine Bluff is going to be a team to watch over the next two years. Dendy has the potential to put together some strong seasons and play on Saturdays in the future. Keep an eye out for this Zebra.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149578" first="Bo" last="Williams"]-Shiloh Christian-5’9” 180-Pounds</strong>
The Shiloh Christian Saints are able to get creative with where they position Williams. Williams has no problem running between the tackles or cutting to the outside and picking up yards on the ground. However, Williams is also a dangerous receiver for the Saints. He has no trouble at all splitting out wide and running crisp passing routes. Williams is going to be extremely productive over the next two years for Shiloh Christian.
<strong>Da’Shawn Charles-Elkins-5’7” 160-Pounds</strong>
One running back that exploded on to the scene this year was Da’Shawn Charles. Charles does an excellent job of allowing a rushing lane to develop before running with the football. He is a back that can run between the tackles and pick up good yardage. Meanwhile, he is not afraid to cut it outside and pick up big chunks using his speed. Elkins has a player in the backfield with the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.
