Louisiana’s Top 10 Teams Ranked (9/24)

Here is how I would rank the top 10 teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 1 Edna Karr</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previously ranked No. 2</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Edna Karr finished the week by moving up in the rankings, after they walked away with a seven point victory against Ruston. This was a game that showcased how elite Edna Karr truly is. [player_tooltip player_id='1356161' first='Jermond' last='Macklin'] took over, while some other players like [player_tooltip player_id='2243882' first='Edward' last='Dailey'] held their own in this game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 2 Ruston</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previously ranked No. 1</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is one of the better games yet again, as we mentioned Ruston fell short by just seven points. While many will drop Ruston to 3 or 4, I won't jump the gun. Instead I will say that Ruston is No. 2, and many can thank [player_tooltip player_id='1845257' first='Dalen' last='Powell'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 3 St. Augustine</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previously ranked No. 3</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This may be one that upsets some, but St. Augustine didn't move up despite the loss from Ruston. St. Augustine is by far one of the better teams in the state, and they handeld business. He is one of the better players in the entire state, and is someone who will help them rise in the rankings in due time. In fact, this team is by far one of the teams that has the best chance of rising up entirely, as this is one of the more stacked teams. If not, how could you not be a fan of this insane squad. They picked up a massive victory over Archbishop Shaw, which is a team that I have learned to like. One of the stars was [player_tooltip player_id='1235891' first='Colton' last='Nussmeier'], who continues to show up in a massive way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 7 Acadiana</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previously ranked No. 8</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another team that is up one spot is Acadiana. This is well deserved after another victory, as they won the contest by a score of 41-27 thanks to one of my favorite players in the whole state, [player_tooltip player_id='1611386' first='Dashun' last='Lightfoot']. [player_tooltip player_id='1851137' first='Cohen' last='DiBetta'] has also handled business so far.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 8 Brother Martin</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previously ranked No. 9</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brother Martin has been winning games by blowout, and that was the exact case in this one. While there are many players to thank, none can be thanked more than [player_tooltip player_id='723579' first='Easton' last='Royal'], who has been a star all season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">No. 9 Westgate</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previously ranked No. 10</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Westgate is the next team on the list, as they gave me no reason to kick them off this list at all. This is one of the better teams in the state of Louisiana. In fact, they won their game 28-12.
