Callen moved to Carrollton from Idaho, where he was one of the more noteworthy prospects in the state. Against stiffer competition in Georgia, he is looking to raise his stock even higher. He is listed at 5’10 175, compensating for his shorter frame with blazing speed and impressive footwork. He is patient against WRs, staying balanced in his back pedal and quickly breaking on routes. From there, he has the speed to slip underneath WRs and have a direct shot at making a play on the football. His speed translates to other parts of the game. On the outside, he can dart past blockers and settle down in an alley to make tackles. He also got chances to make plays with the ball in his hand, weaving away from traffic and finding open running lanes. I expect his speed and active feet to translate to the level of play in Georgia. He holds several FBS offers.

Callen is a well known name around the state of Idaho as not many player start at Highland as a sophomore but the ones that do go on the have pretty spectacular careers. Callen is on his way as he can do a little bit of everything for the Rams where he plays wide receiver and defensive back. On offense he using his blazing speed to get in and out of routes with great technique. He is lightning in a bottle with his ability to make defenders miss out in space. Along with his natural pass catching ability, he competes for the 50/50 balls even though he isnt the tallest player on the field. Defensively he is a lockdown cornerback that has fluid hips and transitions well out of his back pedal. He plays through the offenders hands well to create PBU opportunities and has no problem making a play on the ball in the air. He a sure tackler but more importantly hes a willing tackler that is not afraid to get into the mix. He just recently received an offer to the University of Idaho.
