Nexllst Saturday morning, we'll be halfway home.

That sounds incredibly strange, but the high school regular season is rocketing along, with Week 4 in the books (or soon to be, depending on your weather situation).

As such, teams are rounding into form and performances are continuing to reflect what we know. Or what we think we know. Or what we're surprised by any given week.

There were a ton of outstanding performances in the Upper State in Week 4, and they came courtesy of players you know, players you might not, and players who fall under the "oh, THAT guy again" banner.

Here's a look at quite a few of them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822219' first='Christian' last='McDowell'] DB, Eastside - McDowell came up big when it mattered most for the Eagles. As time expired, McDowell intercepted a pass in the end zone to preserve a 20-14 win over Riverside, Eastside's first in the series since 2020.

[player_tooltip player_id='1819429' first='Imri' last='Logan'] QB and [player_tooltip player_id='1821923' first='CJ' last='Birk'] LB, Boiling Springs - Logan threw a pair of TD passes to close the first half and build a big lead against Clover, then rushed for what proved to be the game-winner in overtime as the Bulldogs beat the Blue Eagles 27-26. Birk made it possible, blocking an extra point on Clover's first overtime possession to set the stage for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822357' first='Torye' last='Pickens'] RB/LB, Barnwell - Pickens had a NIGHT in a 42-18 win over Denmark-Olar. He made 18 tackles, notched two QB hurries, and picked off two passes, both of which he returned for TDs. On offense, he carried 25 times for 93 yards and three TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1821552' first='Will' last='Gambrill'] QB, Catawba Ridge - Gambrill was 10-for-15 against Westwood, throwing for 220 yards and four touchdowns as the Copperheads took a 45-7 victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='409882' first='Jaden' last='Wuerth'] DL, Dutch Fork - The Clemson commit racked up 4.5 sacks as the Silver Foxes turned in another dominant defensive performance, taking a 35-7 win on the road at Lucy Beckham.

[player_tooltip player_id='1604062' first='Jacobi' last='Fuller'] RB and [player_tooltip player_id='1036721' first='Tre' last='Segarra'] RB, Byrnes - Five carries, 194 yards, three TDs. That's the combined stat line for Fuller and Segarra in the Rebels' blowout win over Greer. Fuller had three carries for 107 yards and two scores, and Segarra went 2-87-1, including a 70-yard score on the first snap of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1819577' first='Ashton' last='Moore'] QB, [player_tooltip player_id='1822131' first='Keilon' last='Tucker'] WR, and [player_tooltip player_id='1822132' first='Eric' last='Gaffney'] WR, Chapman - Moore (pictured) threw for 222 yards and three TDs and ran for another as the Panthers dominated Clinton 45-13. Dow had 14 carries for 123 yards and two touchdowns, adding 142 yards and another score in the air. Bolden rushed 22 times for 175 yards and scored three times for Pickens.

[player_tooltip player_id='1094520' first='Jace' last='Grass'] QB and [player_tooltip player_id='1608532' first='Kingsten' last='Bibb'] RB, Daniel - Grass threw for 162 yards and two scores and Bibb had 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground as the Lions stayed undefeated with a 42-19 win over Greenville.

[player_tooltip player_id='1820522' first='Jace' last='Devlin'] RB, Crescent - Devlin rushed for 257 yards and three scores as the Tigers beat Seneca 26-14.

[player_tooltip player_id='1820160' first='Cooper' last='Patterson'] QB, [player_tooltip player_id='2106758' first='Carter' last='Nash'] RB, and [player_tooltip player_id='1664350' first='Nick' last='Means'] RB, Dorman - The Cavaliers flexed some muscle on the ground in a 24-16 win over Gaffney.
