Johnson is a good back with the vision and speed to consistently find positive yards. He sees things develop in front of him, finds the hole, and hits it without wasting much time. You can tell he's a weight room guy, and that strength shows up in how well he absorbs contact and breaks tackles. He had a big night on Friday, carrying it 18 times for 163 yards and 2 TDs. I like how consistent he is as a runner. He doesn't try to turn every carry into a home run and does a good job taking what's there to keep the offense moving.

Testerman is a bigger back who runs through contact and makes defenders work to get him on the ground. He runs with good pad level, sticks his foot in the ground, and gets north/south without dancing around in the backfield. He averaged just under 14 yards per carry on Friday, putting up 138 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. I like how quickly he sees the lane and gets through it, especially for a back with his size. He's still a name that feels a little under the radar right now, but he could end up being a hidden gem in the 2028 class.

Herbst is a physical player on both sides of the ball who isn't afraid of contact and plays through the whistle. He had a big game on the ground Friday, rushing for 131 yards and 5 TDs. He's more of a short-yardage, power back who runs with strength, breaks tackles, and finds a way to keep moving through contact. He's not trying to dance around and make every guy miss. He gets downhill, takes what's there, and makes defenders bring him down. Five touchdowns tells you how effective he was when they needed him to finish drives.

Buster has been big for the offense early in the year and had another big game on Friday. He was constantly ripping off chunk runs, keeping drives alive, and giving them something they could lean on throughout the night. He was a workhorse for them, finishing with 191 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. I like what I've seen from him through the first few weeks, and he looks more comfortable with each game. If he can keep building on this start and stacking performances like Friday, I could see him starting to move up some boards.

Richardson is a versatile and speedy back who has a knack for making something out of nothing. He's slippery with the ball in his hands, can make guys miss in tight spaces, and has the speed to take advantage once he finds some room. He had a big game on Friday, putting up 171 yards and 2 TDs on the ground and ripping off big runs throughout the night. I also like the way he carries himself and the confidence he plays with. There's a little bit of swagger to his game, and it matches the way he produces when the ball is in his hands.
