PRZCJ’s Notebook: Week 1’s Best Undiscovered Talent

While raw, Brock is a tall, loose QB who operates well. I like the touch I see on tape, proving capable of moving the ball up and down. Through 2 games, Lepley is already up to 8 TDs and over 400 yards on the year. He is simply too much for his level of competition, playing at a different speed than everyone else on the field. He is taking direct snaps at QB, but is going to project as a skill player. He is a smooth, long strider in space who is tough and can pull himself through contact, which is impressive for his thin frame. His short-area quickness is truly impressive and could even be considered elite. He is a slippery player who is tough to catch in the short areas, pairing that make-miss ability with the speed to lift off. Robinson went over 200 yards receiving and added some production defensively week 1 against Cass. While small, Robinson has a lot of juice athletically. He is quick off the line and has the speed profile to generate explosives in space. He can climb the ladder and go up and get the ball as well, an impressive trait at his size. Hamm is a lean, smooth player with the functional athleticism to operate at different levels of the field. His hands really stuck out to me last week. He has strong mitts and made several grabs on the outskirts of his catch radius. At 5'8, a future home at RB would make the most sense. He is a bowling ball back with impressive twitch and explosiveness. He keeps his feet working and can create his own yards while staying vertical. He kicked off his sophomore season with 2 picks and added a TD as a receiver. He has such a natural feel and bounce as a safety, playing with good range and spatial awareness. When needed, he flashed his traits, specifically his ability to close on the ball carrier and climb the ladder. He is an instinctual, patient player who matches the top of routes well. He has enough speed to survive vertically, but it's his ability to latch on and stay patient that does the job for him. He played on both sides of the ball and made momentum-altering plays on both sides. I love how he pursues and tackles. He is patient, fundamental, but also has the length and enough pop to execute at the POA.
