Who’s Next: Offer Season
Chris Edmonds Chris Edmonds 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Toledo Central Catholic | 2023 OH , RB
Central Catholic 2023
Notes:
Edmonds got his chance to take on the full starter role as the senior in front of him got injured halfway through the season. Chris emerged into a first-team All-Conference running back and has college coaches checking in on him often. The smooth running back has good speed and develops his power during the off-season. Chris has the makings of Division one running back and, at minimum, D2/NAIA. I fully expect Edmonds to be an All-State running back in fall 2022.
England Allen, DB
Anthony Wayne 2023
Notes:
Allen had an outstanding 2021 campaign. He had a big game early in the season vs. St John’s as he came up with two crucial interceptions in a nail-biter. Allen came to the 419 football club camp this past weekend, and he looks like he is in midseason form. England can run downfield with some of the fastest guys, but that comes from his prowess from the track. Gritty, rugged, and quick is how you can best describe Allen. England runs a 4.5 forty and carries a 3.8 GPA in the classroom, making him the complete prospect. He earned All-League and All-District in 2021.
Case Boos Case Boos 5'11" | 195 lbs | ATH Eastwood | 2023 OH , ATH
Eastwood 2023
Notes:
Boos is a showstopper in his high school football league. Case is a few shelves above the rest regarding talent and skill level. I’m impressed with his vision and quickness on the field, his IQ is very high in the area, and he has that unique ability to read angles. Often you can see Boos walking into the endzone with overextended plays of over 50 yards. Size is a question, but his skills are the answer; I haven’t seen a player dominate that league since Jaden Rayford, who Boos watched growing up. Keep an eye on this under-the-radar prospect, as he will soon get on the scene in 2022. Holds one offer from Northwood University. 2021 stats: 23 Total TD, 61 rec 1000 yds 9 TD’s, 60 carries 381 yds 9 TDS, 13 punt returns 274 yds 2 TDS Long – 90 yds
Tyler Tusia, QB
Padua Franciscan 2024
Notes:
Tyler first hit my radar last spring at the All-Ohio Showcase when he dominated at the Lorain camp. The 6’4 and 215 pound QB has all the tools to be one of the best in Ohio as he marches towards his JR season. Tusia has excellent touch on the football and is accurate on his deep and intermediate throws. As he continues to work in the offseason, he will need to focus on footwork and speed as these components will elevate his game from being a pocket passer to a dual-threat. I project Tyler will be one of the TOP 2024 QBs in Ohio by the end of next season.
Jabari Mitchell LB,
Reynoldsburg 2023
Notes:
Mitchell is one of the toughest LB’s in central Ohio; he is aggressive and physical! Mitchell has earned All-Conference and All-District honors twice in high school during his sophomore and jr seasons. In 2021, Jabari racked up 99 tackles, and with those stats came the offers. Currently sitting at 7 division one offers, and Mitchell hasn’t lost his fire to keep competing are earning more this offseason. Jabari will focus on getting faster and quicker over the offseason as he is expected to be one of the best LB’s in Ohio next season.
