We are rounding out the coverage of the Class of 2027 Rankings Update with a few more articles leading up to our first Friday night of the season. Today we have our top ranked athletes who just made the move from the Watch List up to the Rankings. That move is accomplished with film that came out after the last update or from in-person scouting at a camp this summer. This is a very talented group of athletes who are all uncommitted, but several of them have multiple offers from the next level. So get on these dudes before it is too late, coaches.

Unfortunately, CJ had a very shortened season due to injury, but what that small sample size shows is an LB who was ready to go off. While we had to wait an extra year for the breakout season, the wait is finally over. The 6'2" 205 lbs LB is ready to get back in the middle of that Muskego front seven and wreak havoc. The traits definitely flash in the short film. Instinctual, very quick trigger and closing speed, violent tackler. Vs the run it jumps off the tape how quickly CJ is able to read the OL and fill accordingly to stuff the RB in the hole. CJ enters his senior season with six offers under his belt.

Ne'Vareon is ready for a monster season at OLB for Catholic Memorial. The 6'1" 230 lbs senior missed 4.5 games in 2025, but is ready to roll here in 2026. Flowers was able to produce 43 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 3 sacks in his playing time last fall. Those numbers are just the tip of his talent. He does have the size and strength required to set the edge and stuff the outside running game. He also has the quickness to take down RBs in the open field. It jumps off the tape how effortlessly he can drop and slide while getting into coverage and closing on the football. Plus he has the range to be able to blitz from a wide alignment and still get into the backfield to disrupt or get a sack. Get your eyes on him early this season. He has a handful of FCS/D2 offers.

Aiden put together a good showing this summer. We were able to cross paths with him at the Minnesconsin Mega Camp where he had a very good day in 1 on 1s. This is after he spent his junior season as the Lake Mills starting LT before a concussion took him out for the playoffs. This season Lake Mills is poised for a huge year, and a big reason is they have talent up front leading the way spearheaded by Aiden. The 6'1" 265 lbs senior will most likely find his home on the interior at the next level, and he has the tools to fit that job perfectly. He has the speed and range to get to level two and beyond in a hurry. Overall Aiden plays on really good feet that can help him get up to defenders at other levels, mirror pass rushers, or get into leverage advantages in the run game vs the DL. Aiden holds 3 D3 offers and a D2 offer currently.

We hadn't had a fresh look at Braedon since his freshman season, but this winter the 2027 TE published highlights and it has him back in the rankings. Braedon has built a strong, sturdy frame over the years, now checking in at 6'3" 210 lbs. His power has helped to make him a valuable asset in the Muskego offense. It has helped him to be an impactful blocker. Whether it be downfield, on the edge, or getting up to level two Braedon is able to attack quickly, get leverage, and then drive the defender away from the ball. Dibb is not afraid to throw his body around either and has several big time collisions on defenders to open up holes. Even without receiving production Braedon has offers from Whitewater and Oshkosh.

The Menomonie offense that Liam plays for leans heavily on the running game, but in his junior season we saw Asher take advantage of his opportunities. The first takeaway you have to make note of is that Liam is always getting involved as a downfield blocker in the run game. He is able to stalk block his man and give his ball carrier the chance to cut off him and make a play. When he did get his chances in the passing game we see a WR who has an effective burst off the line and the top end speed to open up some separation downfield. Liam plays the ball in the air really well and will position himself or adjust last second so that he has a great shot at securing the catch. Check out the under the radar athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1281528' first='Alex' last='David'], the Watertown senior WR, is a very fun watch on tape. The senior is a springy athlete with track speed, allowing him to create space quickly or win downfield. I love how he attacks the ball in the air when he can too and how he can make the difficult catches in traffic downfield. Alex's ability to run explosive routes also was key to him getting open consistently. Between his ball skills, speed, and agility Alex is going to be a tough matchup on Friday nights. He holds an offer from Carroll currently. Definitely a sleeper prospect who could really breakout this season.

Will is going to be a 2027 to keep an eye on this fall because he has the potential to have a huge senior season. Last fall, despite all the senior talent in front of him, Whitnall found ways to get him involved and get him touches. As a kick returner the vision and speed produced plenty of highlight moments. They also would use him on jet sweeps so that his speed could once again be utilized to stretch out the defense until he found the alley he was going to attack. The 2027 ATH also plays DB and wasn't afraid to throw him body around to make tackles.

If Parker can find a consistent role this fall we could see him put together a big year. Especially in terms of pass rushing. The 6' 210 lbs DE/Edge is quick and powerful off the line, putting stress on the OT to be able to get enough depth vs him. Parker has honed his pass rushing tools, flashing quick hands that have the power to knock away the hands of the OL. The high motor defender has been putting in the work in the weight room too, so you can expect him to be back even more physical this fall.
