Running Backs: Week One

Once he found the opening, he exploded through and got to the second level with ease, he's worked on his agility this offseason and that was in full effect. He got to the edge easily and separated from the defense. He made good cuts and is a running back who appears to have put it all together. He's a complete three down back, and he showed his footwork, quick acceleration, and the vision necessary to find the open lane through the second level. He has improved his speed and quickness. He showed good power and did a good job of finishing his runs. He did a good job of sustaining arm tackles and running through them, he did a good job of falling forward and creating additional yards when there weren't any to be had. He shows good vision, has the acceleration and long speed and does a good job of getting to the edge and he is a home run threat. He's always been an excellent runner with good instincts, and now converting him as a running back, he sees the field like a quarterback but plays and has the instincts of a running back.
