2025 QB Ryan Montgomery (Findlay) 6’3 190- Ryan had a big pre-freshman summer picking up multiple D1 P5 offers.  It’s extremely rare for football players who haven’t played a varsity snap to earn high major offers, but that’s exactly what Ryan has done.  During the summer Ryan received offers from the likes of Michigan, Penn State  and Tennessee.  Things slowed down during the season thus far, but it has since picked up.  Last week he got an offer from Notre Dame.  Most recently, and also the biggest offer to date, he picked up an offer from Ohio State on Monday.  Montgomery took over the starting QB position midseason and has led the Trojans to the second round of the playoffs.  With prototypical size of a D1 QB at 6’3 190, he also has the athleticism and arm talent that match up with the offers he’s received.  Just as important as the talent are the maturity and composure he plays with.  He takes the reigns of a spread offense that puts a lot of responsibility in the hands of the QB to distribute the ball and make plays.  Often going 5 wide means it’s up to the him to identify the defense, the blitzes, and recognize pass protections before the ball is even snapped.  Very, very impressive for a freshman to say the least.  Being recruited for football is nothing new to the Montgomery family as dad Mike played football at Miami of Ohio, and brother Luke is one of the top Offensive Linemen and overall recruits in the 2023 class nationally.  I’m excited to see Ryan continue to grow as a player and where his recruitment takes him as he will undoubtedly be one of the top recruits in the country by his junior year in his own right. Offer/Date(Month/Day)- Michigan 6/7, Tennessee 6/11, Georgia Tech 6/13, Penn State 7/25, Notre Dame 10/23, Ohio State 10/31 Interest- Alabama 2023 DL Will Smith Will Smith 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Dublin Coffman | 2023 State OH Jr. (Dublin Coffman) 6’3 247-  I saw Will at the Ohio State camp this past summer.  He’s still developing as a pass rusher, but the athleticism and movement skills stuck out.  At that point in time Smith had been starting to hear from schools, but didn’t have anything in the way of offers.  He got varsity playing time as a sophomore and the athleticism showed up on film in his pass rush game.  As a junior this season you’re really starting to see him hold up in the rush game.  He’s showing the leg and core strength to stand up opposing offensive linemen and the upper body strength to disengage.  In Coffman’s most recent playoff game Smith faced up against highly recruited P5 offensive tackle Aamil Wagner Aamil Wagner Aamil Wagner 6'6" | 250 lbs | OL Wayne | 2022 State OH of Wayne HS, and more than held his own.  Illinois, Duke, and West Virginia have all offered Will in the last 3 weeks.  Now that he has offers from teams in 3 different P5 conferences, he’s set up to have a really big offseason heading into his senior season.  I expect him to be a hot commodity among P5 schools. Offer/Date(Month/Day)- Illinois 10/15, Duke 10/26, West Virginia 10/30 Interest- Notre Dame, Ohio State, Cincinnati, others 2023 OL Austin Siereveld (Lakota East) 6’5 315-  Austin Siereveld was another player I saw at the Ohio State camp.  Siereveld hadn’t received any college interest at the time.  He started at offensive guard for Lakota East as a Sophomore.  Watching him run you could see the plus athleticism for an athlete as thick bodied as he.  When he lined up in 1 v 1’s he stonewalled the bull rushes of opposing DL, but had the quickness and footwork to work laterally with them as well.  The pass pro is good but where he really excels is in the run game.  He gets downhill in a hurry and his balance and strengths as he strikes is extremely impressive.  Siereveld was offered by Ohio State last week and that set off a string of P5 offers.  Austin is really well positioned to increase the span of his P5 recruitment this offseason.   Offer/Date(Month/Day)- Michigan State 10/28, Ohio State 10/31, Cincinnati/Illinois/Kentucky 11/1 2024 TE/DE Tayvion Galloway (Unioto HS) 6’6 215- Tayvion is a young man who really burst onto the scene during the late summer and fall.  Right now he’s really just an ATH.  I believe he could play TE or DE at the power 5 level.  I think TE would be a more natural fit for him as he has excellent hands and the speed and size to create a definite mismatch for opposing defenses.  That being said his get off and combo of size and athleticism on the EDGE of the defensive side of the ball is extremely intriguing.  Him being a 2024 I think schools are taking their time with him, but his combo of size, speed, and athleticism has many Power 5 schools very interested in him.  I expect him to do blow up with offers next camp season. Offer/Date(Month/Day)- Purdue 10/23 Interest- Ohio State, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Kentucky among others. 2023 ATH Malik Hartford Malik Hartford Malik Hartford 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Lakota West | 2023 State OH (Lakota West) 6’2 175-  I saw Malik in Lakota West’s scrimmage versus Cincinnati Elder.  I like Malik as a safety or cornerback at the college level.  When you watch his film the first thing that pops out is the speed and vengeance he plays with.  He has fluid hips, takes great angles and his acceleration is elite.  He’s nearly unblockable when he’s blitzed off of the line of scrimmage.  At 6’2 he has the length to high point the ball in the air and bat the ball down with his reach in man coverage.  Malik has burst onto the D1 P5 scene in this his junior season.  He has offers from 4 of the 5 Power 5 conferences.  Based on his film and current offers he’ll have his choice of schools to choose from when camp season wraps up next summer. Offer/Date(Month/Day)- Louisville 9/26, West Virginia & Iowa State 9/27, Kentucky 9/28, Michigan State 9/30, Illinois 10/14, Duke 10/22 2024 OL Ben Roebuck Ben Roebuck Ben Roebuck 6'7" | 320 lbs | OL Saint Edward | 2024 State OH (Saint Edward’s) 6’8 320- Plain and simple Ben Roebuck Ben Roebuck Ben Roebuck 6'7" | 320 lbs | OL Saint Edward | 2024 State OH is a large young man.  At 6’8 320 he just engulfs defensive linemen.  The crazy thing is how athletic he is for a player of his size, and then you realize he’s only 15 years old.  Crazy, I know!  His hand-eye coordination, his foot speed/work, and his strength are all only going to improve over the next 2 years.  He really has a chance to be special.  Well due to the aforementioned traits Roebuck is starting to get noticed.  In the last couple of weeks he was offered by Boston College and Rutgers.  While big, these two offers are only the start of things in a recruiting process that I think is about to get very interesting.  Once he gets on campuses to camp next summer, I expect the offers to begin to flow.  Coaches will get to see first hand his combo of size and athleticism and it will be a wrap. Offer/Date(Month/Day)- Boston College 10/6, Rutgers 11/1
