The Monsignor Farrell Lions had an impressive 2025 Campaign, marked with major success across the boards. The Lions took down two big hitters in South Shore and CBA-Albany. The lone regular season loss came next against Delbarton (NJ). Upsetting the top team in Iona Prep, and picking up big wins against St. Anthony's, Fordham Prep, and Cardinal Hayes. The Lions fell short in the Championship game against Iona Prep in a rematch game.

Top Prospect

There are multiple prospects who can be names the top Dawg on the Lions roster, but I will give the nod to [player_tooltip player_id='1283757' first='Bryce' last='Moye']. Moye had a breakout campaign last year, and is the top QB in the state in 2028. Standing at 6'2" 205-Pounds, he showcases an elite frame, and a strong arm allowing him to launch the ball deep downfield.

X-Factors

Moye is the twin brother of Bryce, and equally as talented. The WR, has an elite frame, at 6'3" 200-Pounds. He makes catches look easy, and is a dominant down field threat racking up catches for the Lions with ease. Moye will be the leading receiver again for Monsignor Farrell, and a big year will see more offers come.

Costanzo is another talented playmaker for the Lions who is receiving interests. The DB/Safety is incredibly talented, and showcases a high IQ, along with good anticipation allowing him to jump routes and make plays on the ball. With a younger team this season, his presence will be crucial to the success of the Secondary.

Della Ragione, is also called the Big Cannoli, and for good reason. He is a big strong physical prospect on the offensive line for the Lions. He has elite size at 6'3" 350-Pounds, and can play as a Center of a Guard. He is the best returning lineman on this squad, and with some more youth on offense, he will be a veteran leader, holding down the line.

The same goes on the defensive side of the ball for [player_tooltip player_id='939622' first='Alpha' last='Ba']. A younger group will be joining him on the defensive side of the ball, and the talented 6'2" 245-Pound DL prospect, shows elite strength, and has the ability to dominate the LOS. He is a player I enjoyed watching last season, and he will once again have a major impact for Monsignor Farrell.

Names To Know

Name

Class

Positions

Notes

[player_tooltip player_id='1882000' first='Mason' last='Morales']

2028

WR/ATH

Morales is a talented young pass catcher the Lions have on their roster. They lose a ton of veterans to graduation, and once again have a tricky schedule with Two out of state matchups before mid September. Teams like Iona Prep, Archbishop Stepinac, and St. Anthony's once again await them in League Play. With a young inexperienced roster, mixed with some key veteran stars, time will tell if the Lions can once again end their season in Fordham once again this season.
