Film Room Friday: Top Prospects of the Week

He can completely overwhelm offensive linemen with his athleticism, and is a dominant run defender who can completely wall off his side of the line of scrimmage and create tons of stops.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I think I'm most impressed with Evans' effort and motor. He's quick, excellent at identifying plays, and can fly downhill to create tons of stops against the run. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Ransaw is a tackling machine on Gadsden City's defense. He's great at filling in rushing lanes, routinely wraps up and doesn't allow for extra yards, and can deliver some punishing hits as well. He sees the field incredibly well, finding lanes and following his blockers to rack up as many yards as he can each carry.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Smith's athleticism really separates him as a runner. He has great burst with the ball in his hands, can make defenders miss, and has top end speed in the open field that completely separates him from defenses. When you combine that with his ability to withstand contact, step out of tackles, and play through his defenders, it makes him a valuable option out of the backfield."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith was a really exciting player to watch this past year. He's physical, aggressive, and plays through the whistle every snap, leading to some pancake blocks in the run game both at the line and beyond.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Green is really impressive in pass protection as well. He's quick, sets his feet, and is an anchor upfront who can react and counter rush moves to provide plenty of time for his QB to make decisions with the ball. He's quick off the line and can seal off DL both at the line and further upfield with how athletic he is. He moves surprisingly well at his size and does a great job clearing up space for his teammates, I'm a huge fan of how he can block on the move.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>When you pair that with how he can match up and dominate in pass protection as well, Tielking has really illustrated how valuable he is to Cullman's offense.
