Carothers is one of the more sought-after quarterbacks in the state, and it's easy to see why. He's a dynamic QB who stays composed under pressure and doesn't panic when defenses bring extra rushers. He shows good poise against the blitz, keeps his eyes downfield, and is capable of making plays both within structure and off script. He has a quick release, generates good velocity, and delivers the ball with solid accuracy. What stands out is how comfortable he looks when a play breaks down, as he can extend plays without forcing things. His team didn't reach the state runner-up spot by accident, and he was a major reason why. The production speaks for itself with over 4,000 passing yards and 49 TDs, which both led the state by wide margins.

Page put together a strong breakout season in 2025 and showed a lot of growth. He's a smart player who doesn't make many mistakes, takes care of the football, and consistently makes the right decision. He does a good job of finding the open man and getting the ball out quickly without forcing throws. His accuracy and ball placement stand out, allowing receivers to make plays after the catch. He completed over 70% of his passes for 2,400 yards, which speaks to both his efficiency and command of the offense. He also shows good footwork in the pocket, keeps his eyes downfield, and works through his reads.

Benedict has good length and vision and brings a dual-threat skill set that keeps defenses honest. He's effective in the read option game and does a nice job knowing when to pull the ball and take advantage of what the defense gives him. As a passer, he shows good touch on downfield throws and can drop the ball in over a receiver's shoulder. He makes quick decisions, processes things well, and doesn't like to hold onto the football unnecessarily. He also does a good job avoiding negative plays and won't take many bad sacks. I think the combination of decision-making, mobility, and touch as a passer makes him a really intriguing quarterback.

Hoover is a true dual-threat quarterback who can rip apart a defense with his legs. He's dangerous in the open field, can make defenders miss, and has the speed to beat pursuit to the corner. Once defenses start committing extra attention to stopping his rushing ability, he's capable of making them pay through the air. He has a decent release, understands where he's supposed to go with the football, and does a good job operating within the offense. He finished with 1,720 passing yards and 16 TDs while completing 61% of his throws, and added another 838 rushing yards and 12 TDs on the ground.

Mainous is a multi-year starter who has shown steady improvement every season. He's a good decision-maker who looks comfortable operating from the pocket and rarely seems rattled by what the defense is showing. He's athletic enough to take off and pick up yards when needed. He has decent arm strength and does a nice job delivering the ball to the open man in stride and on the chest. I think his experience, poise, and consistent growth are what stand out most.
