WR Wednesday- Top Targets of the Week

It's Wide Receiver Wednesday!   We're heading to the film room and watching five talented WRs from across the state who deserve more attention in 2026.   We all need to look out for this group this fall. These guys put together some impressive tape from this past year and have huge years ahead.    [player_tooltip player_id='1610234' first='Houston' last='Tibbs'] is a productive WR from Hamilton who's really impressed us over the last few seasons.   "Tibbs has become the go-to target in Hamilton's offense- he can run a wide variety of routes extremely well, constantly finds ways to get open downfield, and has a surefire set of hands he uses to secure tough passes through coverage.   Tibbs is really quick on his feet and plays with a lot of twitch- it's seriously impressive how much separation he gains off his route running. It doesn't matter what read he is or what part of the field the ball is located, he will find a way to get open and make plays in the passing game."   Tibbs found a ton of success out wide last fall. "Beasley is really quick on his feet. He explodes off the line, has impressive speed and burst, and can burn defenders downfield for some huge receptions. Beasley isn't just a deep threat; he can attack multiple levels of the field with how explosive he is.   I'm really impressed with how well he can turn shorter concepts into huge gains. He's a massive threat off of screen passes, using his speed and elusiveness to quickly evade defenders and break off huge gains in the open field."   Beasley has only gotten better with each year. He's a talented weapon outside for Winfield who has a huge year ahead, take a look below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1360294' first='Andrew' last='Heflin'] is a physical pass catcher who's become a reliable piece of Sipsey Valley's offense over the last two seasons.   Heflin is a threat at every level of the field- he can run some terrific routes, gain separation, and make catches at the short, medium, and deep parts of the field. At 6'2 170, Heflin has great size and plays with a high level of physicality.   Heflin does a great job using his size to bully defensive backs and make catches- frequently on tape he high points/catches the ball over the top of DBs to make some really impressive plays. Heflin also has some reliable hands- he consistently is a dependable target for his quarterback and does a great job securing some tough-to-catch passes.    Heflin is heading into a big senior season this fall. "Gaiter is a speedster who has become an excellent deep threat in Leeds' offense- consistently making huge plays downfield over the tops of defenses. Gaiter is explosive off the snap and plays with a ton of speed and twitch that allows him to separate from talented DBs easily.   Gaiter is excellent at tracking the ball and has a great set of hands- he can catch off-target passes and still make the most out of plays with how well he controls his body post-catch. Gaiter has shown he can be a reliable weapon at every level of the field,   Gaiter has a huge year ahead this fall. Make sure you check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1404984' first='Quentin' last='Lewis'] is a matchup nightmare from Russell County who's heading into a huge season this fall.    "At 6'3 190, Lewis has dominant size he uses to completely embarrass opposing DBs- consistently coming away with massive grabs over the tops of their heads and winning one-on-one matchups anywhere on the field. It's seriously impressive watching Lewis haul in passes- he's a threat downfield, across the middle, along the sideline, and under heavy coverage.   If you throw the ball up, there is a good chance he's coming down with it. Lewis really impressed me with his tape from last season- he made some ridiculous highlight-reel plays against tough defenses all year long, leading to a big increase in his stock with us."
