Usually at a high school camp, it's rare that one of the first athletes to catch my attention is an 8th grader, but it didn't take me long to see what this young man could develop with four more years of high school football ahead of him with the Cardinals off the eye test. The early reps showed that Izaak had good agility and showed off the athletic traits you want to see at that age with the ball in his hands. Surely one to keep an eye out for from the town that has one of my favorite Kwik Trips in Wisconsin.

RB MVP

It didn't take long to establish who the best running back in attendance was as the nod for me went to Brookfield Central 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1326458' first='Aadil' last='Bajwa']. He showed off excellent agility as one of the best we saw with the RB group and one other skillset that was something you couldn't miss as an evaluator was the toughness, pad-level and physicality Aadil showed off in pass-blocking reps as he showed a running back that can do the dirty work without the ball. The 5'10 195 pounder also has ideal next-level size and it's evident has been in the weight room this offseason. When he got the ball in his hands, Aadil was also locked in when it came to his attention to detail getting around the cones with great tightness when turning the corners with his change of direction. The overall balance this young man showed in Menomonie with his skillsets should surely paint some attention coming his way this summer at the next-level as he's got playing on Saturdays written all over him.

Wide Receivers

Brayden was another 2030 athlete out of Thorp that caught our attention in Menomonie on Sunday as this time, it was a Cardinal at the wide receiver position that popped out. Brayden showed off a quick first step for his age at the top of his routes that I watched, and added well-versed seperation when he change directions on the routes I watched on Sunday. He's still one that surely seems like he is not done growing, but from my lense looks like a ideal fit as a slot receiver at the high school level as a WR that is just an 8th grader at the moment.

One of a the only Minnesotans that caught my attention in the wide receiver group and one that finished in my top-tier in that group, was Champlin Park 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='642679' first='Trace' last='Fitzgerald']. He was one of the most proficent route-runners I got to see in the wide receiver group as one that also had some of the most sure hands within the entire group. He might not be the biggest wide receiver out there, but the athletic reach that Trace showed off with some of his receptions showed me that this kid can surely play above his measurables with his athleticism. He already has two MIAC and one WIAC offer thus far, and I would surely expect Trace adds more looking ahead into the meat grinder of college camps season.

WR MVP

Taking my nod in the wide receiver for wide receiver MVP at the UW-Stout Prospect Camp is a name that college coaches should know from the 608 area code, as that is Madison Abundant Life's Mose Aeschlimann. He had the best seperation abilitry of every wide receiver in the group in Menomonie and showed that off on a persistent basis with his great use of his change of direction. It didn't matter if the quarterbacks throws were off line, in tight coverage, etc. Moses caught everything and anything that came his way as I had it noted on muliple reps how impressive his hands were. He's a wide receiver that plays with a chip on his shoulder with every rep he gets and plays well above his measurables with his effort he gives on every rep. Surely a wide receiver from Madison I would love to see get some looks to play on Saturdays.

TWITTER

Tight End

Another prospect out of Cadott that caught my eyes and was the only tight end in attendance too, so his reps were plenty was 2027 tight end Brenton Faber. Based on what I picked up on from my live evals of Brenton on Sunday in Menomonie, Brenton seems like a hybrid between a tight end and wide receiver withis his size profile. Brenton showed off more agility than you might expect to see from the tight end position, along with solid footwork when he would change directions on his routes. Every rep I watched Brenton take was showed off the finish you want to see during a camp setting as the Cadott tight end brought the juice too from a motor perspective. Brenton was in my top-tier when it came down to his hands with both the wide receiver and tight end groups as well. I felt the live eval and hopefully more tape getting posted this fall, tells me this young man could be a senior boomer that has a good shot to play on Saturdays.

We keep rolling on the offensive side of the ball taking a look at our groups of standouts thist ime at the running back, wide receiver, and tight end positions at the UW-Stout Prospect Camp in Menomonie last Sunday afternoon. From 2030s just catching our radar, to several prospects that we have Saturday grades on, this was a solid group that was productive in the HUGE amount of live reps that they got in at Don and Nona Williams Stadium.
