Frakes is elusive in open space, difficult to square up, and consistently forces defenders to miss or fight for the tackle. What separates him even more is his fearless mentality. He's not afraid to lower his shoulder and finish runs physically, running through contact to pick up those extra hard-earned yards. This will be Frake's 3rd season with the Ky. With a monstrous 40'1” triple jump and verified top-end speeds over 20 MPH, it's easy to see why defenders so often look helpless trying to get a hand on him in the open field. What separates Draedon even more is his ability to rise in the biggest moments, highlighted by his untouched 99-yard touchdown run on 8th grade night that shows why he shines so bright under the spotlight. He first turned heads with a standout performance at the Battle of the Regions this past March, showing he can compete at a high level against strong talent, and later backed it up by earning Camp MVP honors at the Who's Next Exposure Camp in Nashville. With good size and the ability to elevate and high-point the football, he gives quarterbacks a reliable target in contested catch situations and red zone opportunities. His athletic background shows up in the way he moves and tracks the ball in space, and his upside as a receiver continues to grow. Santiago looks to have a lot of the physical tools' coaches look for in a receiver, and his toughness stands out every time the ball comes his way. His ability to stretch the field and turn short gains into big plays gives the Ky Future Stars offense another dangerous weapon heading into this season's game.
