We've had a ton of coverage on our Prep Redzone Exposure Camp last Friday, where 73 players competed under the lights in front of our PRZ Staff and college coaches. We're winding down our coverage, but I want to sneak in this piece at the end. Here, I'm looking at five players who have improved the most since the last time I saw them.

PRZ Exposure Camp: Most Improved

Because I had a hand in the preferred invites, I was familiar with a large portion of the roster. Accordingly, I had varying expectations for several guys in attendance. Many met those expectations, but a few exceeded them. Here are five guys who I felt improved the most since I last saw them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1194708' first='Kegian' last='Blanchard'] | WR | North Lenoir

When I last saw Blanchard, he was about two inches shorter, 20 pounds lighter, and a quarter second slower. He was already showing route-running potential, but his physical traits hadn't yet caught up.

He's now more mature, both mentally and physically, and I came away really impressed. I went into Friday somewhat wondering about whether he was ready for his first offer that came a few weeks earlier. I left thinking that it won't be the last.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301805' first='Hudson' last='Irwin'] | QB | Northwest Cabarrus

The last time I wrote about Irwin prior to this offseason, he was a guy who had more potential than talent. Now, he has both. I'd heard that he looked sharp at the Carolinas Coaches Combine a few weeks ago, and I absolutely saw that confidence at our Prep Redzone Camp. He's a big, strong quarterback with a ton of arm talent, but he's more accurate and decisive now than he was just six months ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='2112028' first='Jay' last='Taylor'] | WR | West Stokes

This one may be more about me catching up than about some great leap in Taylor's talent level. Taylor first hit our radar after a massive Week 9 last season, but he'd been playing some fantastic football for many weeks before that. Still, he hit another level down in conference play, excelling as a receiver, running back, and even an occasional passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='590094' first='Amari' last='Coulter'] | WR | Newton-Conover

Coulter has been on our radar for a while. In fact, he was the first name on the first report we ever did on the 2028 class. Since then, he's gone from being primarily a screen and drag-route, yards-after-the-catch guy to a player who runs a full route tree, has great ball skills, and can block.

[player_tooltip player_id='1649868' first='Michael' last='Beasley'] | RB | ALA-Johnston

Beasley's evolution from a go-ball-exclusive receiver to every-down power back has been interesting to watch and a testament to his all-around abilities. He's a highly instinctual player who can make people miss in the open field or run them over when necessary. He's a natural runner, and his receiver background makes him a mismatch out of the backfield.
