Some outstanding performances were had this past Friday night. Olentangy Orange [player_tooltip player_id="171702" first="Jake" last="Werling"] QB (2022) - Jake had 206 on the ground and 145 in the air. He has excellent throwing mechanics. Works well in the pocket with his lower half and gets his hips into his throws. He is very good down the field thrower. He also can really spin it to the intermediate and short routes. He can really sling it when he gets outside the pocket. Excellent runner with great athleticism and wiggle in the open field as evidenced by his great stats in the run game. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/8025134/Jake-Werling">https://www.hudl.com/profile/8025134/Jake-Werling</a> Worthington Kilborne Nash Biglin QB (2023) - Nash had 2 TD's on Friday night and averaged 23.6 yards a carry when he wasn't spinning it. Nash stands 6'4 and weighs in at 205. He is quickly becoming a rising star in the 2023 class. Excellent dual threat QB with good arm strength and speed when he pulls it and runs. He reads plays well and does a good job of pulling when he has too. I am really impressed with his ability to fit the ball into tight windows and make full field reads. Keep a good eye on him over the next few years. He is a big RB with great athleticism and wiggle. Makes excellent jump and 1 cuts. He bursts through the hole and when tackled, always falls forward. He has great patience in between the tackles and doesn't slow down when hitting the edge. Gets vertical quickly and is a threat to score everytime he touches the ball.
