PRZ's Garden State Gridiron 7v7 brought together some of the best young talent in the region for a weekend of competitive play on the field. Players shined from every position, but it was the athletes that played on both sides of the ball and excelled that caught my attention. Here are a few names you need to keep track off this offseason and into the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2174357' first='Kellen' last='Younker'] is a name to get familiar with. The Seton Hall Prep 2029 WR played for ASG 15u and was one of the receivers that you immediately noticed played differently then the rest. Kellen is equipped with a quick release, beating the DB off of the line to create instant separation throughout the tournament. Once he was in the open field, he was an easy target to throw to. What impressed me, however, was Kellen's catch radius and ability to pull the ball in. He demonstrated strong, reliable hands, tracking skills, and elite body control, all of which making him a dangerous weapon lining up out wide.

A built up running back, Ethan Mosley looks like he has the traits to excel when the pads are put on. Even without the pads, Ethan showed skills every coach would want out of their backfield. Ethan helped move the sticks by displaying high football IQ. As he ran his routes, he was able to decipher the coverage and find the soft spot in it to sit down and make him an easy check down for his QB. With zero hesitation, Ethan would then turn upfield with a burst for a big gain. I am looking forward to hearing what he accomplishes in the fall with his pads on and down hill running style.

One of the shiftier wide receivers in the 15u tournament, Anari Armstrong made a name for himself in Elizabeth, NJ. A WR for Hype Fam 15u, Anari was a challenge to keep track off for opponents. With quick footwork off of the line and the ability to break free from press coverage, Anari consistently created instant separation off of the line that weekend. Very quick out of his breaks and accelerations to leave defenders behind, Anari made it apparent he was a wide receiver to pay attention to.

Swag 15u has been one of the more impressive squads I have seen over the last few weekends. Loaded with talent at every position, Jagger Simpson is another one of those WR/DBs that needs to be highlighted. A playmaker throughout the Garden State Gridiron 7v7, Jagger showed why he is an athlete that deserves more attention. Lining up out wide, Jagger was a consistent target coming across the middle. With soft hands and the awareness to catch the ball away from the body, Jagger made it a sure catch any time the ball was thrown his direction. What stood out the most from Jagger's performance that weekend was his hands in contested situations. He was able to bring in the ball time and time again even when the defender was attempting to swat it away. A taller presence on the field, Jagger has all the attributes to be a QB's best friend.
