Here, we're hitting my favorite position to deep dive, using old-fashioned film watching and investigative journalism to evaluate and predict the best offensive linemen in the area. Other names in no particular order. Rankings reflect a combination of 2025 production and predicted 2026 impact. He has the strength to create push in the running game and the technique to stay in front of defenders as a pass blocker. However, he's at his best in space, whether as a pulling lead blocker or on a screen. There are few in the state who can square up a linebacker or safety in the open field like Thiel, and that skill set puts him at the top of the list.     Phipps has elite upside after hitting an early growth spurt and playing his freshman season in the 290-pound range. He generates a ton of explosive power out of his stance and has flashed the ability to blow defenders off the line. We expect a big jump from him from Year 1 to Year 2, but the early returns are already promising.     Holder is a large dude, but he's patient and balanced as a pass blocker, rarely leaning too far, and usually waiting for defenders to make a mistake. That's a good thing when a lot of guys reach and lose leverage. He's tough to move, and when he wants to move defenders, he can with ease.     Caldwell has excellent lateral movement skills, especially at his size and is a well-balanced interior offensive lineman. Reagan trusted its offensive line as much as any team in the state to impose its will and grind out games, and Caldwell's guard play was a part of that. I like that he stays square and keeps his head up in space, too.     There's some projection needed for the raw Dean, but pure athletic ability runs in the family, and we expect the nuances of the position to come with time. For now, Dean is a highly athletic people mover at right tackle. Assuming a solid improvement from his freshman to sophomore season, Dean could be a household name soon.     A massive guard, Miller has excellent raw strength. He tends to get a bit high sometimes, but when he stays square and low, his leg drive is fantastic.
