During a 2025 season without a win at Oskaloosa, Kennedy provided hope that better days were ahead. The junior stood out on both sides of the line of scrimmage on the Class 4A level. As an offensive lineman, he led Oskaloosa with five pancake blocks. Kennedy recorded 20.5 tackles, 10 of which were solo stops. The active and athletic front man collected 2.0 tackles for loss, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. His 11th-grade highlight video reveals how he gets the job done. The inside man on a three-player D-Line, Kennedy soaks up blocks and controls with power. Active hands and quickness also aid in disengaging for tackles when the play comes his way. Kennedy is fast off of the ball, moves well laterally and has his eyes on the target. All of the assets that lead to success on defense do the same for him on offense. He wins battles in close with force and also is light on his feet in pass pro.

‘s play pops on film and shows why he plays one of the most important positions in all of football.
Playing with quickness on the OL, Kennedy uses his slighter frame to get out and move in space, even taking on multiple defenders at times. He also uses his speed and twitchiness to stay in front of DL in pass-rush. With added weight, Kennedy could be a monster of an interior offensive lineman for a program like Simpson.
In what was an otherwise challenging 2025 season at Oskaloosa, Kennedy made a mark on both sides of the line of scrimmage. As an offensive lineman, the junior registered five pancakes. He came up with 20.5 tackles, 10 of which were solo stops. Kennedy posted 2.0 tackles for loss, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. His 11th-grade highlight video lends insight into how he achieves success. The inside man on a three-player D-Line, Kennedy absorbs blocks and uses active hands and power in disengaging to drop ball carriers running his way. He fires off of the snap, moves well laterally to make plays and keeps his head on the ball. On offense, those traits also work well as does his strength in the base. Kennedy wins battles in close with that power and also gets set up quickly in pass protection, where he operates with balance and slick footwork.
