Route 66 Classic 7v7 “Offensive Standouts” 2026

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PRZ Route 66 Classic was nothing short of a fantastic 7v7 tournament. There were points galore from these high powered offenses on both tournament days. Both the coaches and the players had these offensive units humming, and it was a joy to see.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These five offensive juggernauts really started to separate themselves from the rest of the competition at the Route 66 Classic. I have watched him in multiple tournaments this season and has always performed great, but specifically at the Route 66 classic Nevills had a fantastic two days. He hit his talented core of wide receivers in stride with great accuracy with plenty of zip on the football.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nevills also gave his SW7 squad snaps at receiver. Showing good size to go along with the ability to go up and grab the ball at the highest point Williams had a field day against some of the defenses in attendance. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is a physically imposing type of player that loves to get dirty and use his strength while running his routes. He was a calm presence and kept this flight offense humming all tournament long. He played in both 14u and 15u divisions and was impossible not to notice. Wilks can get open and separate from the line of scrimmage demonstrating great footwork and quickness, which is perfect for 7v7 play with only 4 seconds to get rid of the football. Even when the ball didn't get thrown his way Wilks was absolutely flying down the field garnishing the safety to notice the blinding speed and forcing him to come over the top, opening up opportunity for his teammates.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wilks is only going into his Freshman year for the Marshfield Bluejays, I looking forward to watching him play next year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
