Springboro’s Mason Grant out of the Dayton area looks primed to be one of the top underclassmen to watch in Ohio. Grant is very good at dropping in coverage and carrying deep routes on defense; he also has the speed to plant and drive on the ball to break up passes. He has good use-of-hands and effectively stays in phase to be a problem for receivers including some bigger than him. He was described by his coaches as the team’s best wide receiver and that js true as well as he is very elusive as a route runner and quick in and out of his breaks. He made critical plays in his team’s opening round win.
