Luke McGovern from Aurora has held an offer from Army since February, but his most-recent offer from Tennessee-Martin was his first in quite some time. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Class of 2027 wide receiver and defensive back, who is also a high-academic prospect, is very good after the catch and has a nice bend of size and speed. McGovern displays soft hands, he has great vision and patience to follow blocks, and enough top-end juice to be a home-run threat.

If you’re familiar with McGovern, you’ll know this time wasn’t a fluke. The track star ripped off several long touchdowns for Aurora this year including punt returns, direct snaps from the wildcat, and screens with impressive runs after the catch. He already holds a D1 offer from Army, and with his combination of size and speed, we expect to see more in his future.
