Last month, we officially released our first 2029 rankings in the state of Kentucky. Since then, I have broken down the top five players at each position in the class. With that being said, I will he continuing our 2029 rankings coverage by focusing on some players who have caught my attention but are just outside the top five at their position. After already covering the quarterbacks and running backs, here are some under the radar wide receivers to keep an eye on in the class of 2029 in the state of Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='1280013' first='Alex' last='Dezern'] played strictly JV/freshman football for the Tigers this past season and put together some impressive freshman year film. Dezern is a difficult receiver to cover in man coverage as he does a great job of using his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create easy separation. He has also showcased impressive athleticism and a high catch radius which he uses to high point passes away from his body with ease, regardless of what type of coverage is around him. Dezern is a player who I'm very intrigued to see how his career unfolds as he moves up to the varsity level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1648685' first='Makhi' last='White'] played a limited varsity role in a talented North Hardin receiver room as a freshman but impressed when given the opportunity. He caught eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown this past season. White is a dangerous deep threat as he is able to use his speed to his advantage to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He is also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to get up the field in a hurry to pick up extra yards. Makhi will be a player worth keeping a close eye on as his role in the Trojans' offense continues to grow over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685858' first='Andrew' last='Haskins Jr.'] is a player who caught my attention when breaking down freshman year film. He lines up in the slot where he is a very electric play maker in the open field. His coaches like to get him the ball quickly and he does the rest, using his speed and elusiveness to turn screens/short passes into big gains. He has also proven to be a skilled route runner, using quick breaks in his routes to create separation. Haskins will be a player to keep an eye on as he continues to grow and develop over the next few seasons.

My final under-the-radar 2029 receiver to keep an eye on in the state of Kentucky is [player_tooltip player_id='1598512' first='Jermiah' last='Quick']. Quick is a very impressive route runner, using his sudden breaks to create separation from opposing defensive backs with ease. He also does a great job of tracking the ball in the air then adjusting his body accordingly to make tough catches. Quick has also proven to be a reliable defensive back and return specialist. Jermiah will be a player to pay close attention to as he starts to receive some opportunities on the varsity level moving forward.
