We could be seeing another Scholting take over the Pierce Bluejay offense this season, with freshman Brody Scholting Brody Scholting QB Pierce | 2029 NE looking primed to be the next QB1. Brody already got his feet wet during his freshman season, throwing for 488 yards and four passing touchdowns while also rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns. Watching Brody’s frosh tape, it’s clear he has the arm talent to develop into a solid prospect, with strong ball placement and decision-making. He is constantly scanning the field looking for the best matchup and is very quick to pull the trigger when he finds his target. Very mobile, allowing him to slip past pass rushers and extend plays outside of the pocket. Last season was a warning to all Class C1 teams that Brody was coming, and this fall might be his true breakout campaign.
