2027 Anniston QB Jamorris Young Jamorris Young 6'2" | 220 lbs | QB Anniston | 2027 AL quietly put together one of the more underrated quarterback performances I saw on Saturday. Young has a strong build and athletic profile, which showed up in the way he threw the football. His upper and lower body worked in sync throughout the workout, helping him generate good velocity. The ball got out quickly and arrived to his receivers with zip. Young may not have drawn as much attention as some of the other quarterbacks in attendance, but the physical tools were easy to spot. After watching him work, I came away thinking there is a lot to build on with his combination of athleticism, strength, and arm talent.

“Young throws a really pretty ball. He has great mechanics, stays calm and composed in the backfield, and delivers some beautiful passes all over the field from within the pocket. I’m really impressed with his touch, timing, and accuracy. He does a great job of hitting his targets in stride and makes every pass look effortless, regardless of the difficulty of the throw.

I love seeing how well Young maneuvers the pocket. He’s great at avoiding pressure and keeping his eyes downfield, always finding the open man. When you combine his arm talent, his processing, and improvisation, it makes him a really dangerous passer for opposing defenses to try and stop.”
