Cromartie is strong in the short, intermediate, and deep game with the ability to create separation with his strength or speed. He is a dominate contested catcher, using his large frame to either out-jump or overpower the opposition. He has the open field speed to outrun a defense and has shown to be a challenge to bring down with one defender. Cromartie impressed last season with 825 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns on 42 catches.
