DL Report: 2029 Lineman On The Rise

The 2029 Rankings are upon us, and with the next wave of prospects starting to shine across the state, we start our first look at the next Defensive Lineman, from across New York. While it is too early to evaluate a majority of prospects, we will take a Quick Look, and list some Pro's, and some areas the prospects should look to work on as they progress through the High School Level. In this article, we will look at three 2029 Defensive Lineman from across the state of New York, who you should watch. Follow me on Twitter <a href="https://x.com/PRZcory">PrzCory</a> so you never miss a beat!   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    First is [player_tooltip player_id='2076380' first='Anthony' last='Tsiolis'], The 2029 prospect, measured in at 6'2" 235-Pounds, displaying an outstanding build for a Lineman, and a young a recruit. He is a true interior prospect, who absorbs contact at the line. He is a player who will be feared in the A-Gap, and it was displayed throughout the showcase. He won multiple reps, and utilized a tool bag of moves, to make his way to the backfield. Against older Lineman, he seemed to find an easy way to shed blocks. Tsiolis is a player I wish I watched more reps of, but on pass rush reps his IQ was evident, and as only a Freshman, he has a bright future, and can easily become one of the top players on the defensive side of the ball in 2029.   He ranks as my top ranked Lineman, in the 2029 class, and with his frame, and strength, he can easily be a top player in the Catholic League.     Fryling is an intriguing prospect, who measured in at 5'9" 220-Pounds, displaying a solid build for a lineman. The Depew Lineman, can play on both sides of the ball, but I like him better as an Interior Defensive Lineman.   Film is limited on the yung prospect, but from what I had watched, he displayed good strength, along with aggression, that helped him attack opposing lineman at the LOS. I like his footwork off the line, as well which helps him start his pass rushing attacks.     Minshell's size is unknown, but he displays solid film. The CBA-Albany prospect ranks as my second best defensive lineman in the 2029 class, and should make an impact this upcoming season.   Minshell has solid speed for an interior Defensive Lineman, and displays good footwork off the line along with solid hand placement, allowing him to shed blocks with ease. I like his strength which can push centers back, and force QB's out of the pocket on pass reps.
