Nolan has been an OL who has had my intrigue for awhile now. He was someone with size and power, but it was clear everything hadn’t quite clicked together for him. That was until this summer when we got a fresh look at the 2028 and it is safe to say he has taken that next step. The big man looks the part, sets the tone with his physicality, and now we are seeing the comfort and trust in his feet an overall athleticism to help him make even more plays. Whether it being that he can mirror pass rushers more quickly, or win the body position and/or leverage battle his improvement in mobility has taken his game to the next level. Nolan is going to be pushing to be inside our Top 100 when we update the Class. Definitely keep an eye on the Wisconsin Rapids OL.
Nolan Losey of Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln is an impressive specimen. The 6’4″ 270 lbs 2028 had one of, if not the best, frame among the entire group of OL and DL. He has the height, weight, and length and while he is soundly and thickly built we don’t see a ton of excess weight on him. The exciting part is that Nolan is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. He has a good base of strength to build on. It was also clear that Nolan was just starting to truly grow into his frame and have full comfort and control while moving within the trenches. As that athleticism matches the frame we could see Nolan absolutely skyrocket his stock by the time next summer rolls around.
This summer will be a great chance for the Wisconsin Rapids IOL to show off more of his talents. He doesn’t have a ton of film to go through, but I’m liking what I see from it. Nolan has the budding frame at 6’3″ 270 lbs, so he looks the part. The 2028 also flashed the power in the run game to completely wipe away a DL from the designed gap. Especially with double teams. The big man seems to have decent mobility as well. This summer will be a great chance to continue to fill out the picture of what his full skill set is. This is definitely a potential sleeper. I’m hoping to see him in action at least once this summer.
