Clarke continued his impressive start to the season by helping Caldera open Intermountain Conference play with a 26-9 victory over Bend. The junior running back finished with 169 rushing yards and a touchdown, once again serving as the centerpiece of the Wolfpack’s ground game. After putting together a massive 330-yard performance in Week 2, Clarke followed it up with another strong outing against a Bend defense that managed to slow down Caldera’s overall scoring but couldn’t completely contain its star back. Clarke’s production helped Caldera start conference play on the right foot.
Clarke delivered one of the most explosive rushing performances of the young season, helping Caldera cruise past North Eugene 66-21. The junior running back needed just 15 carries to rack up an incredible 330 yards and four touchdowns. Clarke consistently ripped through the North Eugene defense for explosive gains, averaging 22 yards every time he touched the football. With Caldera’s offense putting up 66 points, Clarke was a major catalyst behind the dominant performance and showed just how dangerous he can be with the ball in his hands.
Clarke emerged as one of the most productive underclassmen running backs in the state, eclipsing 1,000 rushing yards as a sophomore while averaging an impressive 9.7 yards per carry. His 13 touchdowns reflect not only big-play ability but consistency as a primary offensive weapon. Clarke runs with confidence, vision, and burst, making him difficult to contain once he reaches the second level. With two more seasons ahead of him, he’s already establishing himself as a cornerstone for Caldera’s offense.
