Callen is in position to go and take the WR1 role for Amherst and his QB should enjoy throwing to him. The highlights show a WR who is going to do what it takes to go get the football with his trustworthy hands. You see him sliding in or diving or twisting his body last second just to find ways to get his hands on the football. Add in the speed to get behind the defense and you have an up and coming WR well worth keeping note of this summer/fall.

Amherst had an explosive big play threat at WR1 in 2025, and now will be looking for their next go to option. The first choice that comes to my mind is Cal Lusic who already put up 17/276/1 in 2025. You watch the tape and can see that he plays like a kid that can be a big play threat. His highlights are littered with several receptions where Cal has used his speed and acceleration off the line to get behind the defense for big chunk plays. His hands and that speed should force defenses to continue to have to cover the majority of the field every snap like they had to in 2025.
