With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 17 Lineman in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each Lineman during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

Ernesto Ballesteros-Kingswood Oxford

Ballesteros was a player who caught my eye on the offensive line. He measured in at 6'4" 253-Pounds, showing an excellent build with tons of room to grow. The Sophomore prospect, was also extremely athletic throughout the afternoon, and put together some impressive combine numbers. Ballesteros, used his massive frame and strength to move defenders throughout the showcase. He had excellent body control, and knocked multiple guys off balance and got them to face backwards. He displayed a quick first step and attacked the POA with tenacity. Ballesteros is a future college lineman.

Aleaga headed east, and the former Bishop Gorman lineman was impressive in Warwick. Aleaga measured in at 6'5" 296-Pounds, displaying an exceptional build. The 2027 prospect has traits, that easily translate to the next level. He was massive in person, and being one of the first players to arrive he opened multiple scouts eyes with his size and frame. He projects mainly as a Guard, and can be an absolute wrecking ball as a pull Guard. He had some amazing reps, staying low through movements, which in return helped his leverage and balance through reps. He has some exceptional pass blocking and run blocking traits, and his physical presence is exceptional. Aleaga is someone who can easily play at the next level.

Joseph was immeasurably impressive, and commanded your attention from the moment he entered Warwick. He measured in at 6'5" 298-Pounds, and as Sophomore, that is an extremely impressive build. Joseph will find himself respectfully ranked in the next update of the 2028 rankings. He always wants to get better, and consistently asked how he could improve. He is a valuable Tackle, and dominated with strength and leverage throughout the afternoon. He is easily dominant in the run game, and displayed the ability to move defenders to create gaps. Joseph is a star on the Line, and easily has a bright future ahead of him.

Sica had an impressive combine, ranking in the top half for each drill, and showing an incredible burst with some solid speed for a DL prospect. Sica measured in at 6'0" 198-Pounds, and can add some more weight. I like the 215 mark for him. He has plenty of time as he is only a 2028 prospect. Sica was incredibly deadly off the EDGE, and displayed excellent hands which were used in Pass Rush. He has excellent body control, and understands leverage off the EDGE. I like his length, and his ability to move from high attacks to low attacks. Sica is a young, raw prospect who has a bright future ahead of him.
