looks like he’s right in line to fit that bill. The sophomore lineman proved to be a mauler on both sides of the trenches with well over double-digit offensive pancake blocks and 25 total tackles on defense. He has solid size at 6’2″ and 255 pounds and should be able to easily add more mass to his frame in the upcoming seasons. What stands out about Grant is that he attacks with a purpose, using a powerful, violent jab to stun his opponents and immediately drives to move defenders off the ball. He understands how to use his leverage well and does a good job keeping his pad level consistent when engaged. Grant spent time at tackle and guard, with his higher ceiling at guard, where he can be used to destroy defenders on pulling blocks and help open up inside run schemes with his ability to seal off LBs in the second level. Can’t miss mauler!
