There are some athletes and defensive players in the 2027 class who need more love. Let's check out the studs who moved up in our rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1237274' first='Yoshawn' last='Hudson']

Hudson was on fire this season. From the beginning of the year until the end of the season, he was on fire making it happen for his team. Hudson is the kind of player who can make a big impact on both sides of the football. He is a kid from Winona who we think is going to be a defensive back on the next level. He was also putting up some big numbers at running back this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='438918' first='Trey' last='Tippett']

Tippett is a player who gets it done on both sides of the football for Louisville. He went for over 1000 yards receiving this season and he recorded three interceptions on defense. At this point, we are not sure what position that he will be playing on the next level. We do know that he is going to be a player on the division one level. We are thinking that this offseason is going to be really big in his recruiting.

[player_tooltip player_id='1237316' first='Connor' last='Pittman']

Pittman is a kid from Magee who is lock down on the islands. We are used to seeing him making big plays in the secondary. Pittman is a player who we are looking forward to seeing picking up some division one offers. We want to check him out at a few combines this summer to see how he does against some of the top receivers in the state as well as the nation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1454426' first='Braylon' last='Key']

Key is a player who knows how to get it done in the secondary. He is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound defensive back from South Panola who we think is going to be a stud at his position over the offseason and next season. Key is a guy who does not mind coming up and making tackles. This is a player college coaches are going to want to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1237199' first='Trae' last='Collins']

Collins is a baller with the ability to do a good job at wide receiver and defensive back. Collins was recently committed to Ole Miss before he decided to pull back from his commitment. There is no doubt that Collins is one of the best players in the 2027 class. We have been watching him be a baller since his freshman season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1651483' first='Jykeim' last='Goodwin']

Goodwin had a good season at Noxubee County. He stepped up at quarterback when they needed him to. Goodwin made sure that he was open when they needed him to play wide receiver. He was also on point when they needed him on defense. Goodwin is going to have another year to do what we all know that he can do. He will be the main man leading their offense.
