Owen McBride has a prototype frame at 6-foot-4 and command of the passing game. On film, McBride consistently stresses defenses vertically, driving the ball downfield on posts and seam routes while also showing the touch and trajectory to connect on deep shots outside the numbers. His mechanics and timing stand out in the pocket, as he gets the ball out on schedule and makes difficult throws look routine.

McBride finished the season with 2,493 passing yards and 35 touchdowns, ranking second in the state in passing touchdowns.
