One of the prospects that we previously noted as worthy of his first Division I offer, Mohamed Darboh Mohamed Darboh 6'2" | 235 lbs | DL/LB Des Moines Lincoln | 2027 State IA has picked up two in month of May. Finding a spot on this list, his first offer came from Northern Iowa, while the second came from St. Thomas.
Darboh is an explosive athlete that could project to multiple positions thanks to his athleticism and speed. Whether he’ll play defensive end, EDGE, or outside linebacker at the next level is TBD, but he’s the type of prospect that is worth the opportunity in terms of just bringing him in and figuring it out later. Effective in using his length and violence to push and pull, swim move or spin off offensive tackles, Darboh finished his junior campaign with 63 tackles (57 solo), 18.5 TFLs and 12.5 sacks. He’s got a high-motor and a clear desire to get after the quarterback on every play — something a coach can’t teach.

A long and ferocious pass-rusher for Des Moines Lincoln, Mohamed Darboh Mohamed Darboh 6'2" | 235 lbs | DL/LB Des Moines Lincoln | 2027 State IA looks the part of a Division I defensive end, edge or outside linebacker on film. Effectively using his length and violence to push and pull, swim move or spin off offensive tackles, Darboh was one of the consistently good pieces for the Railsplitters in what was a tough season this fall.
He’ll need to add some weight to his frame — and if he wants to be a pass-rusher, grow in height — but he should be able to find himself a spot on the field solely thanks to his tenacity. This fall, racked up 63 tackles (57 solo), 18.5 TFLs and 12.5 sacks.

Darboh proved to be a problem for opposing offensive tackles in 2025. The junior edge rusher gets off of the snap quickly and puts the opponent on his heels, as he shows during his 11th-grade highlight video. Draboh is effective with his hand in the dirt or standing up. While speed and quickness stand out as key assets, he also displays productive pass-rush moves and active hands that help him separate. Darboh is strong with a frame capable of adding good weight without the loss of agility. In 2025, he racked up 63.0 tackles, 57 of which were of the solo variety. He registered 18.5 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks.
