That has impacted two recruits in the state of Illinois committed to Ole Miss and one just flipped to the Tigers. Per Hayes Fawcett of Rivals the #5 overall player in the Prep Redzone 500 and #2 tight end [player_tooltip player_id='212319' first='JC' last='Anderson'] has flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to LSU.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Anderson chose Ole Miss originally over Auburn and Illinois, but LSU was definitely involved as he had visited there under coach Brian Kelly. So he was familiar with the school, program, and area. Once his offensive minded coach and staff left for LSU they made him a major priority. It seemed like just a matter of time before he flipped before National Signing Day on Wednesday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We saw Anderson have one of his biggest games of the season late in the year vs Breese Mater Dei where the tight end scored three total touchdowns. Showed a good combination of size, strength, hands, and athleticism that should project well to the SEC. The Tigers have potential first round pick next year Trey'Dez Green in the fold for at least one more year. Anderson has some traits that remind us of former LSU tight end Mason Taylor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
