PIAA 4A Championship Game Preview Twin Valley vs. S Lehigh

As a linebacker, he is a difference maker. He is constantly making plays all over the field. His ability to read and react to the play, and attack downhill is impressive. Twin Valley has had an amazing season, but it will face a talented Southern Lehigh team. His ability to control the run game inside is what makes him such a good defensive player. Southern Lehigh is a talented team that is good on the line of scrimmage. He has good coverage skills as he can stay with wide receivers the entire time when he is matched up against them. He is also a good tackler. He tackles well in the open field. This allows him and his teammates to stop the run game of opposing teams. For one last game, he will try to win a state title. He can drop in coverage and take away passing lanes. Lighner will need to play at his best against a talented Twin Valley run game. He is equally adept as a defensive lineman as he is an offensive lineman. He has great size (6'4") and strength. As a defensive lineman, he is hard to move off his spot. He is a good nose tackle who shows the ability to plug gaps and control the run game inside. Then, as an offensive tackle, he is a devastating run blocker. He does a good job of blocking down and driving defensive linemen off the ball.
