Expert Analysis
Hayden Lindquist | Prep Redzone Scout
Anderson was one of the most impactful freshmen last season as a two-way starter for the AA state champs JCC, which culminated in an All-District Honorable Mention at the end of the season. He’s got legit upside at both positions, as well as on special teams as a returner. He’s produced some fantastic tape as a corner. Anderson can provide top-notch man coverage and does an excellent job of blowing up screens and breaking up short passes underneath. He does a great job of contesting deep balls as well, and fights hard at the catch point to bring down the rock or at least break up the pass. As a wideout, his route running has evolved far beyond his age. He’s also crafty in space and does a great job of maximizing his YAC. Not many 2029s did what Anderson did last season, and I’m pumped to see what he does in 2026.

made an immediate impact on both sides of the ball for the Huskies, playing a key role in bringing them their second straight AA championship. With reps at WR, return specialist, and at both CB and Safety, Anderson was a pure all-purpose threat that added dimension to how dangerous the Huskies were as a unit. Anderson showed great ball-carrier vision and was slippery to tackle in open space. Anderson excelled as a man-coverage CB and was an excellent tackler while also being able to slip by blocks on designed screens to force the stop in the backfield. Anderson is going to be a dangerous presence in the 2A conference who will look to maintain the Huskies’ standing as the top dogs of the conference.
