Playing for a for his regular season Head Coach and playing in an offense he has run the whole season, starting Running Back [player_tooltip player_id='2066996' first='Michael' last='Kozminski'] got the lion's share of carries for the South team in the NJSYFL National Division game. Toting the rock a (unofficially) game-high 12 times, the yards were a lot more difficult to come by on the afternoon than the carries were – with his longest run of the day being an 18-yard coming in the second quarter. Despite a costly fumble and a deflating total of rushing yards, Kozminski was a busy man, as he also played a considerable of Outside Linebacker. In addition to his offensive contributions, he also (unofficially) tallied five tackles, with one coming for loss.

While there were several skill position prospects who contributed mightily to the South team's offense – some that very well could have been named the Alpha Dog Skill player – the unequivocal Alpha Dog of the linemen was Summit's [player_tooltip player_id='2065313' first='Mason' last='Dorsett']. He was the best lineman on the field regardless of team, and regardless of side of the ball. Offensively he started at Right Tackle and did his job on nearly every play, opening up gaping holes for the skill guys and doing his best to keep them clean and upright. Defensively is where he made an even bigger impact in the game. Rushing off the edge, even when he didn't make a play that resulted in a stat for him, he was a force. For example, in the third quarter, on back-to-back plays, his penetration resulted in a tackle for loss (by a teammate) and a holding call.

Unofficially he finished with: 4 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 QB hurries and 1 pass deflection
