Weekend Rewind: Underrated Playoff Performers

I will be in attendance evaluating prospects, and I hope to see you there !    Santana had a monster game for Pomona. The 5'8 170-pound running back had 28 carries for 222 yards. Santana has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and balance. He has an explosive quick start at the line of scrimmage. Very good inside running. Picks, slides, and accelerates into the hole. If one's covered, he uses his explosive jump cuts to pivot into the open one. His longest run of the day was 63 yards. Santana isn't afraid of putting his shoulder down to truck through the defender or create extra yards. I expect Santana to continue balling out in next round.     Woods had a great game for Mead, he had 16 total tackles (8 solo, 8 assisted), 2 TFL, and 1 sack. He has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, speed, good acceleration, and jumping. Woods uses his very good read and reaction speed and puts himself in position to make the big play. Very good get off and block shedding. Very good blitz rush with very good take off speed. Great downhill linebacking ability with very good range. Woods uses his good strength to lay the boom on ball carriers. Very good tackling. Great individual game to end his senior season.     Monahan had an impressive performance for Idalia. The 5'10 175-pound freshman RB/LB had 4 carries for 20 yards and 1 touchdown, with 6 total tackles (5 solo, 1 assisted), 3 TFL, 1 sack, and 1 QB pressure. Monahan has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, acceleration, good speed, jumping, and balance. Monahan has good read and reaction speed. He trusts his instincts, and it leads him where to go. He puts himself in position to make the play. Very good range from sideline to sideline. He's a good downhill linebacker and has good block shedding. Impressive young linebacker who showed out in the win.     Tena measures in at 6'1 175-pounds, He had 9 receptions for 110 yards and 1 touchdown. His longest reception was 30 yards. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, good jumping, and speed. Tena uses his good release at the line of scrimmage to create separation against DBs. Very good catching and ball tracking. Good body control and adjustment. Tena will go up for the contested catch and come down with it. Good yards after the catch with his good juke move and solid stiff arm. He was a consistent target for his QB all night long, and showed off his impressive hands. Great individual performance by the senior.     Czyszczon had a phenomenal night for Windsor and pounded the rock all night long in the win over Pueblo South. The 5'10 195-pound back had 29 carries for 187 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has very good speed, balance, good acceleration, and change of direction. Czyszczon has very good vision. This power back finds his route and plows through defenders. He'll bounce off them as well gaining extra yards after contact. Very good inside running and good outside running. On the outside, he turns the perimeter and turns on the jets. Good pass protection as well. Czyszczon has been a beast all season long, and will look to continue in the next round.
