Well, here it is, part two of my midseason standouts – this thing could become a 5 part series with all the talent I see this fall. Part 2:
Tayvion Galloway, TE/DE – Unioto – 2024
- Galloway is a 6’6 raw prospect with a lot of potentials to become good, like really good. He weighs around 215 pounds and has good speed to go with it. Galloway has made some spectacular plays this season and will continue to develop as the season progresses.
Jaylen Young, RB – Whitmer – 2022
- Jaylen was once the change of pace back for the Panthers, but when 3x All-League RB Steven McCoy Steven McCoy 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Whitmer | 2022 OH was injured, he became the guy. Young has rushed for nearly 600 yards averaging 7.7 yards per touch. Young has seven touchdowns on the season thus far.
Isaac Sexton, RB – Southview – 2024
- Sexton is a physical and fast runner. Thanks to HC Jeremy Rowe’s offensive scheme, he is looking to become the next great Southview running back. Rushing for nearly 400 yards on the season and five touchdowns is good enough for 3rd place in the Northern Lakes League.
Joe Caswell, RB – Anthony Wayne – 2023
- The 6’0 185lb beast back from Anthony Wayne has continued the mission of having a dominant run game for the Generals. Caswell is averaging 7.9 yards per touch and leads the NLL in touchdowns with 11 to date. Joe has over 650 yards and seems to get stronger each week.
Steeler Leep, DB – Fairfield – 2023
- Leep has become a household name in southern Ohio and is gaining state-wide attention. Steeler has stolen the ball with three interceptions, 25 tackles, and a punt return for a touchdown. Offensively, he has two touchdowns in their four games this season.
Rasheem Biles, ATH – Pickerington Central – 2023
- Biles is a big-time defender that can play in the box or the secondary with his skill set. His sideline to sideline speed shows on tape, and he is a big hitter. Rasheem has earned multiple D1 offers since the start of the season. Sonny Styles gets a lot of attention, but Biles is one on the rise too.
Adam Hrynciw Adam Hrynciw 6'3" | 175 lbs | WR Fremont Ross | 2023 OH , WR – Fremont Ross – 2023
- Hrynciw is having a breakout season as expected and rounds out the fantastic WR group at Fremont Ross. With 15 receptions, 370 yards, and seven touchdowns on the season so far. Teams will have to figure out how to cover a legit big 3 in Anthony Vann Anthony Vann 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Fremont Ross | 2023 State OH , Bryson Hammer Bryson Hammer 5'10" | 165 lbs | ATH Fremont Ross | 2023 State OH , and Hrynciw. Ross is 5-0
A.J Schuller, Center – St. John’s Jesuit – 2023
- Schuller is the heartbeat of the SJJ offensive line. The 2023 leader shows on film his ability to pull at guard and his toughness at center while he washes down defenders in the A gap. AJ also has an interception for a touchdown on the season as well.
Mason Oliver, RB – Elmwood – 2023
- Oliver is averaging 16 yards per touch and has 16 touchdowns on the season. If you have not seen this kid play yet, you should—one of the best backs in NW. Ohio in the class of 2023.
Case Boos, ATH – Eastwood – 2023
- Boos is a high production athlete in the Eastwood offense this fall. Case has 13 touchdowns so far this season with 600 yards in total offense. What makes his season unique is his ability to make plays on defense and on special teams too.
Christain Ramos, QB – St. Edwards – 2022
- The leader of the Eagles is having a great start to his senior season. Ramos is a crafty runner showing his ability to score on the ground, and he spreads the ball around well to his wideouts. The Bowling Green Baseball verbal commit will have some decisions to make as college coaches notice his natural football skills.
