The junior quarterback has Lake Ridge rolling into the second round after a massive win over Euless Trinity. Edwards passed for 243 yards and four touchdowns in the upset victory, showing excellent decision-making and control of the offense. His quick feet and strong pocket presence allow him to extend plays and find open targets. Edwards is peaking at the right time, making him a name to watch as Lake Ridge continues its playoff push.

Holloway put together one of the most dominant dual-threat performances of the opening round, throwing for 215 yards and a touchdown while rushing for a staggering 232 yards and another score. His ability to take over a game with either his arm or legs makes him a constant threat anytime he touches the ball. If Melissa is to keep advancing, Holloway's versatility and explosiveness will be right at the center of it.

Peterson is coming off a strong opening-round performance where he threw for 219 yards and totaled two touchdowns. As Forney prepares for a tough matchup against Harker Heights, Peterson's blend of arm strength and athleticism will be critical. He's dangerous both in and out of the pocket, able to make throws on the move and hurt defenses as a runner. If Forney advances, expect Peterson to be a major reason why.

Randall delivered one of the most impressive outings of round one, torching Frisco Reedy for 321 yards and four total touchdowns. A seasoned dual threat, he can stretch defenses vertically, attack with his legs, and make every throw on the route tree. Having already led the Scots to a state title appearance as a sophomore, Randall's experience and playmaking ability make him one of the most dangerous quarterbacks still in the field.

Heath is a fast-rising junior who helped guide Paris past Lincoln in round one with another impressive showing. His strong arm, polished footwork, and ability to deliver accurate throws on the run give him the skill set of a next-level prospect. With a quick release and natural playmaking instincts, Heath enters round two as a true X-factor capable of shifting momentum in an instant.

Kates was sharp in a big win over OD Wyatt, throwing for 305 yards and four total touchdowns. He's known for his poise in the pocket, quick release, and ability to push the ball downfield with a strong arm.
