Manny has great instincts, his field vision allows him to read, react and close on his opponents quickly. He has excellent lateral quickness and his ability to change directions in a hurry enables him to make plays in space. Manny can defend from sideline to sideline, showing the speed to run down ball carriers in the open field. As a sophomore he was highly productive, totaling 99 tackles, 41 solo tackles, 11 TFLs and 4 sacks. He is emerging as one the top defenders in the 2028 class.

Manny shows elite instincts, flowing naturally to the ball and reading the quarterback’s eyes to anticipate plays before they develop. He’s explosive in closing gaps, shedding blocks with crisp hand placement and leverage, and doesn’t shy away from contact often finishing plays with authority. His sideline-to-sideline range is impressive, allowing him to cover a lot of ground in both run support and pass coverage.

In coverage, Manny transitions smoothly, staying low in his hips and keeping his eyes on the target, making him effective against crossing routes, quick outs, and tight end seams. He communicates well with teammates, adjusting to motion and shifts quickly, and his tackling is clean, rarely missing assignments or overpursuing.
