About Lucas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm an RB who tries to make a strong impact when I'm on the field. I make every opportunity count, with an average of 6.0 ypc during district season and 9.7 so far in the playoffs. I do not hesitate and try to make quick cuts, read my blocks, and hit the open lane. I can go down the middle to earn tough yards for first downs or run explosive plays if I'm given space. I also play in special teams.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe that hardwork creates opportunities. I work hard on the field, in academics, in the gym, and my community work. I also believe in motivating others to give it their all. I'm currently not the starting RB, but I'm always ready to make an impact when called to. I do not believe in quitting. I learn from every mistake.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Clubs/Organizations: National Honor Society (awarded), HOSA, Young Men's Service League (YMSL, outside of school) Awards: Academic All District (2023-2024) YMSL Service Award (2023-2024) YMSL Outstanding Service Award (2024-2025)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership on and off the field, including leading by example, while also being a team player. As part of the Young Men's Service League, I have learned that little sacrifices make a huge impact in the community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been blessed with a supportive family, friends, and community who help me rise through challenges in academics, in sports, my entreprenurial projects, and community work. The biggest challenge I have is performing at my highest level in all the things that I do.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college or university that values academic performance alongside athletic skills.
