Gaither is a dynamic home run-hitting back who has good vision and the ability to cut on a dime without losing any momentum. He’s just fun to watch. He starts to heat up as the game goes on and gets a feel for the defense. The energy he brings to the field is contagious, and his teammates feed off of it. He rushed for 1228 yards and 9 TDs as a sophomore and has picked up an offer from Kent State.

I saw Brandon Gaither in-person at the state championships and the 5-foot-7, 170-pound running back flashes potential to be one of the top running backs in the state. Gaither has great balance in space. He can pinball off tackles, stay on his feet and displays good burst at the second level. Key to his recruiting will be how much he grows over the next two seasons.

In spite of the loss, Brandon Gaither has a bright future. The class of 2028 prospect runs like a bowling ball, a straight north-and-south decisive runner who wastes no time getting vertical. Gaither runs with great vision and forward lean, constantly getting yards after contact and maximizing every carry.

Gaither II is one of the young backs Luers has who looks good, showed potential, and had a good Varsity year. He split time, but he’s a dynamic back with good speed. He’s going to get to the edge if you allow a crease and rip off a big run. He’s got quick feet and his eyes lead the way. He put up 888 rushing yards and 6 TDs this season, but I think he builds on it next year. They have a good duo back there, and Gaither is an exciting piece of that.
