To wrap up our top five linebackers in the class of 2028 in the state of Kentucky, I have Jameson Chaffin Jameson Chaffin 6'2" | 185 lbs | LB/DB Belfry | 2028 State KY . Jameson lines up at inside linebacker where he is a very impressive run stopper. He explodes out of his stance and shoots the gap to meet the ball carrier before they can get any momentum going. Chaffin does a great job of running his feet through contact once he gets to the ball carrier to finish his tackles with a sense of urgency. Jameson currently leads Belfry with 33 tackles in six games. Chaffin has also recorded 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack so far this season. Jameson is a player who college coaches should definitely have on their radar moving forward.

Jameson is a player who college coaches should have on their radar this year.

Jameson Chaffin Jameson Chaffin 6'2" | 185 lbs | LB/DB Belfry | 2028 State KY is a physical, well-disciplined linebacker who flies to the football and consistently makes plays defensively for Belfry. Chaffin is a playmaker on defense who excels at reacting to what the offense presents. He’s not easily fooled by play action or other types of flashy offense, but stays with his assignment and can break on the football when the ball is out of the QB’s hand. Chaffin is also a running back for Belfry, and he demonstrates a high football IQ on both sides of the football. His tendencies as a tailback carry over to defense, as he’s elusive in pass rush situations and can blow up a play before it gets back to the line of scrimmage.
