Jeff Williams Jeff Williams 5'6" | 140 lbs | WR/DB Lima Senior | 2028 State OH , a Class of 2028 receiver from Lima Senior, has big-time upside. What strikes me the most about Williams is his explosiveness, burst and change-of-direction when he gets into space, where he can be a legitimate threat to go the distance. Williams is a great route runner who creates separation, but he gets most of his yards after the catch. He is Ohio’s top underclassman receiver in terms of production, with 986 receiving yards and eight touchdowns through six weeks.

I had the opportunity to see Williams play both football and basketball live this fall and winter. He may not be the biggest player on the field, but he’s dynamic. He lines up at slot receiver for the Spartans. He can stretch the field vertically, but where he truly thrives is getting the ball in space.

In the open field, he’s twitchy and explosive in and out of his breaks. Williams’ ability to juke and make defenders miss makes him a threat any time he touches the ball. In his route running, you can tell he understands leverage and has a high football IQ. He’s definitely a player who could be utilized in gadget plays as well.

I’m really excited to see what the future holds for this talented player.

Williams line up at slot for the Spartans. He’s a twitchy receiver who has the burst to create separation in small spaces. He also has the speed to stretch the field vertically as well. When it came to going over the middle knowing he was going to take contact, he was fearless. He’s a natural hands catcher who can make yards after the catch. Williams has the look of a receiver who can be a versatile playmaker at the slot position.
